My Fall Uniform: Florida Girl Edition

Hey, y’all! It’s time for this Florida girl to talk about her fall uniform. You see.. we do things a little bit differently here in Florida. Unfortunately, we don’t have the perks of many cool days and even if we have a few cool mornings it’s usually warm by the afternoon. Such a bummer I know.

When in doubt and fall comes around booties have always been my go to. I love pairing this with a float dress. You can dress it up down, make it cooler warmer. You name it.

These are five ways I like to style my booties and dress for my Florida girl fall uniform.

1. Chunky Scarf

Not only does this say cozy but you can really play around With the styling of this. My favorite is a blanket scarf because it can be styled so many different ways.

2. Denim/leather Jacket

Throw it over the shoulders or around the waist for a trendy or edgier look. Keep you warm but also easy to toss the the side window longer needed.

3. Cardigan

I love me a cardigan. Even when it’s not cool out you can get away with the thinner ones. This is going to give you some warmth while still looking really comfortable.

4. OTK boots

Over the knee boots take the simple look to the next level with some thing a little bit more chic. Keeping those legs a tad warmer.

5. Tights

I love to throw on a pair of tights with my dress especially at night. Giving you an overall cute layered look if you combine it with one of these other options.

I’d love to know how other people style their fall uniform. Let me know in the comments below.

This is awesome! This is my second winter in Florida after moving from Michigan. I’m still getting used to the different styling for winter. Excited to try your tips. 🙂
